The map for Chi Yen Community was the first Green Map in Taiwan, that was firstly produced in January, 2003. After the completion of the map, Chi Yen Community trained the local people to be volunteering introducers to the map. Visitors can make appointments by phone for touring and introducing of the map. During the process of making this map, local people discovered a small pond in a park in this area. The pond is the only agricultural watering reservoir in this area which has significant historical value.
